Summer Riding Camp 2019

Hannaberry Farm offers 5 weeks of summer riding camp for riders at all levels.

Campers will spend the day immersed in equestrian activities: Mornings include riding lessons focusing on balance, control and technique, followed by chores and horsemanship instruction (non mounted horse related activities). Afternoons vary with games on horseback, bareback rides, trail classes, equine art projects and guest presenters.

Friday afternoons are always decorate a horse day and our dress up parade!

All our instruction is in English riding. Levels are from beginner to advanced. Advanced riders can focus on a specific discipline either dressage or jumping. Advanced campers are welcome to compete in Hannaberry schooling horse shows, scheduled throughout the summer, to test their skills! All campers are invited to our annual gymkhana which takes place in mid August.

Hannaberry has the right to cancel any session that does not have a minimum of 5 campers. In this case all deposits will be refunded.

Day Camp Session hours: 9:45a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Activities begin at 10:00a.m. sharp.

5 day camp $575 per rider. Tuition includes one camp T-shirt per student.
Second child from the same family will receive a $25 discount per camp session.

5 day overnight camp $1250 per week. All food and activities included. Riders dropped off Monday, picked up Friday. Show camp is Wednesday through Sunday $1300.00. Van service not guaranteed for sleepover camp.

To hold a spot you must send a $200 deposit before April 1, 2019.

Please note camps DO fill up. Do not wait to register.

Van Service:
Service is available from Chicago for $150 per week per camper. Pickup will be in Hyde Park. Second pick up to be determined based on location of the campers. Parents will be notified by email of pick-up and drop-off times prior to camp session.

All attendees must sign a current release form, even if you ride regularly or attended summer camp last year.
